How to make money on Pinterest without a blog?
It’s very easy to get started with Pinterest affiliate marketing, even without a blog.  This guide shows you the exact beginners steps to generate your first affiliate commissions.

1: List the products or services that the specialist needs

Affiliate marketing works if you show people the products they want and need at the right time. Make a list of all the useful products and services you can think of in your field.  Also, include products that you have used yourself and helped. Search your products to see if they have an affiliate program.
  • Weekly email updates
  • Get the latest ideas to make money in your inbox. No spam, just pure value!
  • We respect your privacy.

2: Find and subscribe to relevant affiliate programs

Choose a few affiliate products that match your niche. Use Google to find related affiliate programs. Type "Your Major" + Affiliate Programs, which will show you the currently available programs for which you can apply. Apply to join the affiliate program. Each program will have different rules that you must follow.

Keep in mind that some will only get followers to the blog.  Don’t let “no” discourage you.  All right, just find someone else.

3: How to use Pinterest affiliate links

Now that you have your affiliate links, you need to create pins to promote them. I use Canva which has a very good free version that you just need.  You also don’t have to be a graphic design expert, Canva has many free pre-installed graphics, photos, posters, and videos to use. Make long and 2: 3 ratio pins.  Canva makes it easy by giving you the pin size you want.

Just click Create Layout and type the Pinterest Pin which is already set to 1000-1500 px.  You can add custom sizing if you like. Once you’ve created the PIN, give it a name (it helps with SEO), and download it to your computer. On Pinterest, click on "Create Pin", add your photo and type a title and description.

Use the Pinterest search box to find and add keywords to your description.  Start typing your keyword and Pinterest will show you the relevant keywords. By enriching your pin’s description with keywords, you’re telling Pinterest what your pin is about, which increases the chance of seeing it higher in searches.

Be sure to declare that the pin is dependent.  You can do this by typing #affiliatelink, #aff, or #promotion for example.  In the link section, here you will add your actual referral link. Don't use a link shortener like Bitly.  Use the original link. Unlike other social platforms, Pinterest does not want to hide affiliate links.

4: Comment on the relevant board

First, install the new PIN in the most relevant panel.
If the title is “The 12 Best Baby Teething Dolls,” prove it with your baby product or baby teething pad tips. Make at least three copies of this pin to send every two days.  You can use a paid scheduler like Tailwind or you can actually schedule Pins for free on Pinterest. Join group boards and share your pin there to get more exposure.  Just make sure the group is tolerant of dependent pins.

How to make money on Pinterest with a blog?
Pinterest affiliate marketing with a blog has a higher conversion rate. This is because you are giving people information before displaying your affiliate link.  You can also use lead magnets on your blog to build an email list and promote more products later. This converts a one-time buyer of your affiliate product into a customer that you can promote for many years. Once you’ve set up your blog, write articles that answer questions in your niche.  Articles work well:
• One product against another ...
• Buyer Guides
• Tutorials
• how
15 of the best….

Within your article, you can add affiliate links to useful and relevant products. When readers click on your links and buy what you recommend, you get a commission. Create 3-4 new Pinterest Pins for each article and post them in a few weeks.  Be careful about changing photos and text because new Pins are considered more important by Pinterest, even if they are related to the same article.

Create custom affiliate product panels.  Your boards are named; "Best Tools for Bloggers" or "Best Products for Mom and Baby" depending on your niche.

How many followers do you need on Pinterest to earn?

How to determine Pinterest affiliate links?
On each affiliate pin, you need to show its relevance to the commission.  At the end of the description section, write either: #advertisement, #sponsorship, #employee link, or #affiliate link.

Pinterest Affiliate Marketing - Conclusion
Affiliate marketing on Pinterest is a great way to earn side cash.  But it’s important to stick to best practices and not just send spam to your account using links.  Affiliate pins don’t get the most traffic, so don’t overuse them.

Also, Pinterest may not like an account that only posts product links so you risk being banned.  Aim to provide value to your followers with daily Pins for your best content.  Share popular content associated with your boards across large accounts.  Spray affiliate pins occasionally, resulting in a product that is useful to your audience.
